Chain slings and components
Lashing chains according to DIN EN 12195-3 are ideal for direct lashing ( slant lashing and diagonal lashing ) of heavy loads. Short-link chains are used for this purpose. Only these ensure excellent support for the chain when subjected to edge stress. Long-link chains would deform here. The required length can be adjusted using shortening elements. The shortening unit must have a lock to prevent unintentional release.
