Synthetic ropes are made from the highest quality materials.
This is a very high molecular weight polyethylene, which offers maximum strength combined with minimum weight:
* highest strength-to-weight ratio
* very good abrasion resistance
* excellent fatigue resistance
* good compression resistance
* low stretch properties
* limited temperature resistance (melting point 150°C)
* maximum operating temperature 70°C
* fibre density 0.97: buoyant
The low stretch of the ropes is very advantageous in situations where there is limited room for movement, where any dynamic force generated by stretching can be very dangerous, e.g., for winches, tugboats, and when mooring ships with heavy equipment.
Ropes made from HMPE fibres are particularly recommended where low weight and easy handling are important, as well as for water transport for fast and safe mooring and towing.
The synthetic ropes offered are made using a twelve-strand braid technology - 12 strands

CONSTRUCTION - the rope is made of 12 strands, 6 of which are braided clockwise and 6 anti-clockwise. This protects the rope against twisting, which is a very important advantage during use. A special machine containing 12 spools of HMPE synthetic fibres is used to produce the rope.
Comparable in strength, and in some variants even stronger, than steel rope. Its undisputed advantage is its weight, flexibility, and ability to float on water. The synthetic fibres are very soft, and there is no risk of injury when handling the rope.
