Dutton-Lainson Company manual rope winches with brake provide safety, convenience, and control for multipurpose hauling and lifting of loads and burdens. The fully automatic friction brake provides a constant, positive holding action whenever the handle is released (when the load stops), preventing the load from moving again.
Features of the DLB and B-series brake winches include:
- Laminated gears made of quality high-carbon steel for longer winch life
- All gears in models DLB800A through B3503 are heat-treated for increased strength
- Permanently lubricated bearings on the drive shafts are maintenance-free
- Robust steel crank with ergonomically shaped handles
- The drive shaft gears are copper-brazed for their long life
- Solid, welded winch construction for greater strength
- Load-matched gear ratios for easier cranking
- All plated parts are zinc-plated with the patented TUFFPLATE® technology
