During installation, the lightbar must be well insulated using heat-shrink tubing or, for example, insulating tape. Water or moisture must not leak into the copper cable of the bar. This can seriously damage the bar. For lightbars with a plug, it is important to attach the plug firmly. Do not cut the tinned ends of the wires. Always install the bars on a carefully prepared surface (a dry, cleaned, flat, metal, and degreased roof surface).
